Simon Anderson introduces his 5 Spark

This model is designed as a multi fin setup for everyday surfing as well as a small wave performer. Inspired by the popularity of quads and the need for thrusters stability, the Spark allows for surfers to have the best of both worlds.
I have been inspired by the popularity of quads and have worked through a few models. Lately it has been common to allow the thruster option into the design of the quad. The Spark is a fish style outline with a low nose entry rocker and a wider swallow tail. I am running a deep single to double concave running into a slight tail vee for release.

As a thruster this board has excellent speed and control, riding it as a quad it is super loose and fast. A great small wave option with a point of difference, a fast loose and skatey quad feel or a fast predictable carving thruster. The Spark can be ridden from average to expert skill level and ridden as an all rounder or small wave option.

A performance fish outline with a wider swallow, the 5 Spark is a high performance design for everyday surfing. The low nose rocker entry creates ease of paddle and generates speed over the flat sections. Running with a deep single to double concave with a slight tail vee creates dynamic speed and rail to rail transition with release through the tail.

The 5 Spark is a great all round or small wave option for the advanced to experienced surfer, in small to medium surf. As a quad or a thrusters, it can be used as your everyday board or an addition to the quiver.
