I purchased a 7 2 Mollusc last year (2010) a week before traveling to Bali. We mainly surfed middles and airport lefts from 2-5 foot the board is great easy to paddle very forgiving on the late take offs and still turns quite well. I'm so impressed with the shape I have just ordered a 6 8 for this years Bali holiday. Regards Wayne Scarborough (WA) Wayne

It gets a flabby middle age bloke into position and lets him lay the odd drawn bottom turns drives him up through the lip and on a good day when the back allows it turns n snaps like a performance board, he thinks he surfs like he did 10 years ago.It catches small waves with ease turns like a performance board sits tight in the pocket above all you surf better on a simon

I love its paddling power and found it surprisingly maneuverable in the smaller stuff. It works really well in everything from small beach break stuff to decent size Margaret River. After getting a few on the Mollusc I decided to go the Big S and bought a 6’8”. It was an experiment. I’d been out of action for so long I hadn’t had the opportunity to experience contemporary designs. I’ve had some good days on the Big S at Lefthander and Uluwatu and like it a lot. I also further experimented with a contemporary 6’4” from an outfit in Margarets. It goes well enough but I’m too old for that shit. Now the thing is that my brother really likes the 7’4” and I gave just gave it to him. That board is a real conversation piece, the number of times I’ve been asked about it in the water or from random crew on the beach is amazing. So anyway, this morning I cruzed into Viddlers in Cottersloe and ordered a 6’10” Robo. The projection is that it will suit me and my purposes very well. I recon it will be an exceptional all rounder for Lefthander, Rotto, Margarets. I still got the Big S for back up at like Red Bluff, Ulu’s etc. I’ll ride em both and see what happens. But I recon this 6’10’ is gonna prove to be quite the uber shooter.
